Beneath the Steam

Eli lives a simple life. He already has everything he needs, earned through perseverance and a keen sense for business hence the success of his café. His days always pass in the rhythm of grinding beans, steaming milk, paperworks, and familiar faces that come and go. Peace-that is how he defined it.

But that peace was shaken the moment he accepts a responsibility too heavy to refuse, a responsibility he takes on without hesitation. Unbeknownst to Eli, that responsibility will lead him to meet again a person from his past.

Eli will find himself standing before a man he cannot fully remember, yet whose presence ignites something buried deep inside him.

Between memory and instinct, trust and hesitation, they are drawn together by a force neither can resist nor fully understand. Every glance, every word, and every silence threatens to unravel the fragile boundaries they've built, forcing them to confront what they've lost, what they've become, and what they might yet destroy.
