Mistress Gaga & the Lavender Girl (Under revision)
Lady Gaga had designed that show down to the last gesture. Every light, every silence, every version of herself onstage was proof that the war was over: the creator and the creation, at last in the same room. The monster, named. Desire, measured. Power, in its place. Stefani, underneath, believed it too. Years of learning to look her darkest parts in the face, to tame them, to use them, to keep them from taking over. Everything was under control.
And then, halfway through that same tour, someone looks where they shouldn't, and the Opera House shakes at its foundations.
Andy is twenty-six, a fan since she was ten, a walking storm of coffee, cigarettes, and feelings that spill over. Intense, weird, over the top: that's how people have always described her. And maybe she is. But she is also someone who learned to survive on her own. A concert, a last-minute ticket, and a crumpled flyer are enough to shake the woman who no longer believed she could lose control.
This is a story about surrender and power: two women who recognize the MAYHEM in each other, who want with an intensity that terrifies them, and who let themselves be seen in the parts even they are afraid of.
For all those souls who know some storms are meant to be danced.
