The Hollow Knight departed.
But now with no further Pantheons remaining, no unresolved gods to test, and no remaining purpose within Godhome's structure, the Shade Lord leaves. They do not emerge enlightened.
They emerge thinking.
The Shade Lord does not return to Hallownest immediately out of longing or duty. They return later-only after recognising a delayed truth that they wish they knew before:
Hollownest cannot be saved.
But it can still be violated.
