Adele dated a man a long time ago. She was so deeply in love with him. But they were both building their lives. The last time Adele heard his name it wasn't in a good light. His mother had told Adele that he was ill and not doing well. Since then Adele never heard from him. She thought something terrible had happened to him. Adele ended up getting married to another man to somewhat distract her from the love of her life who she thinks is dead. But something unexpected happens.
