As the fae's presence awakens deeper magic in the shop, two enigmatic cats arrive uninvited: Salem, a sharp-tongued wise cracker with far too much knowledge, and Cosmo, a serene cosmic sage who speaks in riddles and stars.

Together, they reveal an impossible truth: Briallen has always stood at the crossroads between worlds.

As fae bargains, living stories, and impossible visitors begin to converge on her bookshop, Briallen must face a choice she's been avoiding her entire life: accept the magic woven into her existence, or lose herself trying to deny it.
