Talisa is a rather shy girl, trying to escape her mothers chains while pursuing her career.
Kyren is the top tier lawyer in New York City, always professional and never taking his eyes off his goals.

When the two of them meet for the first time, nothing happens in the way Talisa wanted it to. But somehow, he makes her feel safe.
After a series of events strikes, she finds herself closer to Kyren than she ever wanted. And maybe she only needs to realize that's all she ever needed.


This is my first story and I would love to find out what you think about it. Also, English is not my first language, so please don't mind my grammar or wording mistakes.
