The idea of dying did cross Katherine Baxter's mind from time to time. She knew it was unavoidable. She knew she was always running out of time but she tried to not let it bother her.

It was easy to distract yourself from the inevitable with things like boys, parties, drugs. So she did just that, by the end of sophomore year Kate was practically known for sneaking off campus to steal alcohol from the grocery store down the street.

She was always known for the excessive amount of trouble she would get it, which was odd given the fact her grades were practically perfect straight A's minus a C in chemistry-not her strong suit- and the reason for all of this was just because if the day ever came to early Kate wanted to go out with a bang.

Sadly no one was there to witness the bang on the night Katherine Baxter died in the school bathroom.
