Aurelia's always wondered about the future. She was left utterly baffled when a man stood ominously in her hearth, his striking ice eyes pinning her down as she got up from her slumber. And, somehow, he knew her name. But what lied ahead was the most shocking all. She was swept off her feet, transported through time, to endure the dark dystopian reality that'd challenge her guts and capability forever. A war between Iado and humans, leaving her stuck in the middle. But one thing was clear- a fight to save the guy that sparked a light in her eyes wouldn't be optional anymore. She'd fight whatever it took, even if it meant death.

Seraphina Ravelle, the stepdaughter of Marquess Edric, grew up surrounded by luxury-but behind the mansion doors, cruelty ruled. Her mother, Isadora Ravelle, used her power to torment the Marquess's first daughter, Liora. Seraphina loved her sister dearly, yet she could never show it. Desperate to save Liora from their mother's abuse, Seraphina secretly forged a letter and sent a marriage proposal in her sister's name to the feared Grand Duke, Izek Viremont. But instead of accepting Liora... the Duke sent the proposal back-to Seraphina. Why would one of the most powerful men in the kingdom choose her? And what does the Duke truly want?
