From New York to Tulsa

A spin off from The Outsiders but with Dallas Winston's point of view, including how he got to Tulsa and going into his backstory and showing his true feelings instead of masking them behind a tough teenage boy. This book also shows that he is a lot more emotional than people think and that life can be harder than what it looks like on the outside. This would be a great novel to read if you are a big fan of The Outsiders or teen fiction in general (disclaimer: This book might be harder to understand/follow if you have not read the original book, The Outsiders by S.E Hinton)
