Midnight Animals: The Hellion Trials

Hyo is the leader of the mercenary group called the Midnight Animals. He was inspired by the legend of Robin Hood and leads his team to help people.

The group is made up of ten men all with their own special skill. Another person along for the ride is Cecily Bezzina, a 16-year-old rich girl, taken out of her element. There's also Yasha, Hyo's badass girlfriend, a woman with her own goals in life. You get to see the point of view of these 12 characters as they fight for Hyo's dream.

The Midnight Animals are on an island called Balalaika where all the worst criminals in the world are located. The criminal underworld is run by five individuals called the Hellions. One of the Hellions gets himself arrested and his position is left open. All chaos breaks loose in Balalaika as everyone fights to become the next Hellion.

The Midnight Animals have two big rivals for the position of Hellion. One of them are the Dragon Riders, who have had a rivalry with Hyo since childhood. The other group is the Eretica Company, who's leader is the ex of one of the Midnight Animals.

The fight for the Hellion position is personal and Hyo will have to decide if his dream is worth risking the lives of his friends.
