The Flame

This story follows the life of Lia Kōno-a striking redhead with piercing green eyes-pulled from the streets and thrust into the hidden world of Kokubun Academy.

Kaito Katsuragi is a Sensei at Kokubun Academy. Disciplined. Respected. Unyielding.

He is the one who found Lia, drawn to something dormant inside her-something dangerous enough to change everything. Something neither of them fully understands yet.

The night air is thick when he speaks.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
His voice is barely a whisper.

There's a growl beneath it. Controlled. Restrained. As if something sharper has been deliberately locked away.

My eyes trace the strong lines of his face, the moonlight carving shadows along his jaw and cheekbones. He looks untouchable-like someone standing on the far side of a line I shouldn't even be aware of.

Then his gaze snaps to mine.
