Graywillow is a town that remembers things wrong. Voices arrive without bodies. Memories slip out of order. People change so slowly that no one notices until it is too late. As Tobi Chara struggles with grief and unexplained disturbances, the town's buried past begins to surface, along with a presence that does not hunt openly, but settles in, waiting, threading itself through lives and minds.
