This story includes a girl,Ember Biggs, who up in till she was eight in happiness laughing with her twin brother, Hugh, and smiling with her little sister,Claire, always being known as the strong sister, until nobody knew how strong she was.

when her twin brother and her would hang with the boy next door Gibsie having fun and kicking a ball around one day and the next we were burying his father and little sister and a couple months after that we found out his mother was remarrying and in came his horrible step-father and step-brother.

Ember didn't feel comfortable near the step-brother always hiding behind her twin brother, when one day he wasn't there and with the help of her mother she found she had a disease and her mother told the gibbons/Allan family, mark Allan came to her room the next day telling her he would fix her.
He didn't do such thing but after brain washed and she couldn't fight back with her illness she couldn't move and when her best friend passed, she fell deep in a hole not even her loved ones could get her out of.

And in the end the only person who reached the rope down to her was the boy who had his own problem and was on the opposite playing pitch,Joey Lynch.

Will he be able to pull her out or will he be like everyone else and cut the rope thinner.
