Chasing The Wildfire 3 (HIATUS)

Maximo Gena Rodriguez needs a wife.
Not for love. Not forever.
Just long enough to keep his dying grandmother's last wish alive.

Three hundred and sixty five days.
A legal contract.
A win- win situation too generous to refuse.

Valea Lily Cabo says yes; not because she's desperate, but because she refuses to be cornered.

With her parents demanding she return home with a suitable boyfriend or agree to an arranged marriage with her cousin; Valea chooses the only option that gives her control.

She gets married instead.

A blind date turning into a contract wasn't part of the plan, yet here she is - sharing a house, a last name, and a bed with a man who treats love like turbulence: something to fly through, never feel.

The rules are simple:
No feelings.
No questions.
No breaking the clause.

But when his grandmother moves in, suspicion sharp in her eyes and hope heavy in her heart, the act starts to feel dangerously real. Lingering touches replace polite distance. Jealousy creeps in where indifference once lived.

And the countdown begins to feel less like an end... and more like a threat.

Because the hardest part of a fake marriage isn't pretending to love someone.

It's walking away when the contract expires.
