"world" is meant to be a comfort, something you know to be simple yet complex, and that you understand, yet don't.
In this way, it is confusing, but we have come to terms with it as best we could by making up mythology to explain it and protecting ourselves from its harsh powers since the beginning of it.
We have learned to adapt.
But adapting is hard, you see, to do quickly.
If you have entered a foreign and new universe to yourself, you cannot adapt as quickly as you might think.
And I think that the greatest power a man will ever have in the face of danger is to adapt in the blink of an eye.
Oh, how I wish this man could walk among us.
How I wish that he was I.

The Midnight Flare

Unrealistic Reality
There are some people who live in a dream world. A world where everything is perfectly fine. There are no fights, no pain, only happiness. These people see the bright side of everything, even the bad things in life. Then there are people who face reality. They know how much some things can hurt and how hard it can be to do the right thing. They have to make hard decisions, life changing ones. They get strangled in a web of lies, and once you're in, you can't get out. I belong to the second group and I am here to inform you that a perfect world doesn't exist. There is no such thing as 'a happily ever after.' We are all in the same game, just different levels. We're dealing with the same hell, only different devils. My devil is a killer and my game is to kill him. The only problem was I didn't know who my devil was. That's how the unrealistic game suddenly became a reality.Terminé
Glint and Precurse
Have you ever gotten the feeling that everything you do is for nothing? Do you feel that no matter how hard you try, the world will always move on without you, whether you like it or not? Is it difficult to keep up in this current of events everyone else calls existence? Yeah... me neither... What? Do I have to put a meaningful and insightful description of the story? This is MY story, and I can do whatever the hell I want! It's funny how people just expect me to do things for them... Oh, you still aren't satisfied? If you are spending so much time reading this meaningless book description, why haven't you already started reading it? This is the kind of thing that bothers me about readers! They want people like me to practically spoil the entire story for them before they read it! Now, what it the point in that? So, taking into consideration the previous message, if you are still dying to get a taste of what this story revolves around, I might as well tell you. You have been oh-so-patient by reading all of this jibber-jabber that it would only be disrespectful for me not to give you a little information! House Rules
When you're young, you think you know it all. When you go through foster care, You have to grow up fast. Meet an 8-year-old boy who thought he knew it all. He just wanted to grow up as fast as possible to escape all the "care" he was forced to have. But when a family finds out about his past, they want to help him in any way they can. In this case, letting him be a little kid again, letting him feel safe while being himself. This story is about his first days in his new foster home and gives a little glimpse of what happens when you don't let the outside world dictate what is right or wrong.Terminé
