     When Jade spots Harry from across the park she feels drawn to him. There's something about him that intrigues her to find out more about this green eyed boy. But then she comes back to reality and realizes she can't. Her mother wouldn't allow her to speak to a boy she hasn't met or approved of yet. That's how her mother was with many things. She told Jade what to wear, who to talk to, and what to eat. Jade wasn't allowed a say in her life and couldn't make any decisions. She became used to it and doesn't see a problem with it. Once Harry steals Jade away for a moment and talked to her, he instantly wants to know more about this quiet good girl. He ignores her pleads to stay away and he keep coming back to talk to her. Jade finally gives in and she spends the day with him. She meets his friends and her eyes are opened to a whole new perspective of friends, family, and love. She was finally happy. But happiness doesn't last forever. Her mother quickly intervenes and separates Harry and Jade at all cost. But they will do anything to be with eachother.

The stress made her dad turn into a huge drug user and alcoholic. He would abuse her when she wouldn't give him her money for drugs or just simply hit her when he wanted to. The addiction got so bad he would start selling her body for money to get drugs . Her mom heard about it and went to get her. Marilla now lives with her mom and her boyfriend in the rich side of town. She's shy but she's known for her outburst and anger. But things aren't what they seem in the inside. Her mom abuses her. Mostly mentally but sometimes physically. Her mom makes her thinks she's incapable of love until she meets ash. He changed her perspective of herself and helps her through the hard times.
