Katarina, a Gen Z manananggal and an architecture student, just wants to survive college. Living as a seemingly normal student, she struggles to pay her high tuition fees and wants to help her parents with the expenses so she applies for a part-time job. She manages to get hired at a fast-food chain, but there's one problem...... THE NIGHT SHIFT! the exact time her body detaches and flies away! and what makes it worse is when she unexpectedly meets a mysterious guy at work who's 100% her type! At first, it's thrilling... but the more she gets to know him, the creepier he seems. Now Katarina must juggle school, work, family expectations, and a supernatural secret that absolutely does not fit in a uniform...and a guy who might actually be worse than college finals. College is already a nightmare T^T but for Katarina, being a manananggal just made it way more complicated!

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said.
