Despite the dark lord falling, a lot of death eaters escaped. They rallied once again to systematically wipe out all those related to the Order of Phoenix. This happened within months, as soon as their guard went down thinking they were safe from the dark lord's tyranny. When Harry and Hermione are attacked, Harry goes down fighting and Hermione, with little Teddy in her arms ends up years in the past. Now she has to decide whether to let history play itself or to turn everything upside down and forge a new path.
Hermione Granger, with a year old Teddy Lupin in her arms, has a time-turner accident in a life threatening situation and is transported years in the past.
