Tayeri is a girl who does her best to help her family. One day while getting some fresh cheese, she stumbled upon a group of warriors. She does not know that she is daughter of a wanted king, so when they use her, her brother, and her mother as a motivation for the king to come back, it could be months of terror until they finally get away. Day by day, with all the anger upon the warriors, the city, Mayple, is destroyed. When they escape, all they have is hope, and the last remains.

Characters:

Tayeri – Main, the daughter of a wanted king, brave
Austin – Main, Tayeri’s brother, brave, son of a wanted king
Suyuna – Tayeri’s mother, sick, bravest among them all, once a wife of the king she thought was normal
Vegualt – Austin’s Friend that eventually dies, trying to save them
Yuma - A stranger that guides them through the way. Leaves near the end going back to her home.
