A house with two epileptics can be a little crazy in itself, add in the revolving door of foster kids and at times it can feel like living in a zoo. With a rebellious teenager who refuses to accept his disorder, a partner who's seizures continue to be unpredictable and a job that brings in kids with all kinds of problems Mikes had to learn to juggle a lot. Trying to get Jackson to accept himself is proving to be a lot harder than they ever thought it would be and the years of seizures and heavy medication are finally taking a tole on Tyler. After high school Tyler and Andre start their own lives. Andre takes a path no one saw coming and a friend moving away causes the boys to look at a new future elsewhere. Moving to a new city away from the safety of home is scary in itself, add a medical condition on top of that and it's a little more tricky. Even if it is, for the time being, considered to be under control. Figuring out how to gain some independence while still staying safe becomes a challenge when things start to change again. Will living with Mike mean a closer relationship or will it end in resentment? Will Tyler ever be seizure free? Will they mature enough to be able to make the tough decisions on their own when the time comes? Being an adult isn't always all its cracked up to be.Complete
