This is a story about my OC, Lavender Surprise, living in a what was supposed to be a Utopian society.
Everything is perfect in Manehatten, Equestia. Everypony is equal, and no pony is above or below eachother, except for the dictator and her guards. Since everypony is equal, that means no pony has a special talent or any Cutie Marks. Everypony is the same color, black and white, and no other colors than that. There's no such thing as "time being killed" using those special talents. What will happen to Lavender Surprise when she gets her Cutie Mark by mistake? DUN DUN DUN DUN...

Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge.
