Post-Combat Heat

Shayla witnessed the wrong thing at the wrong time, and now the cartel wants her dead. Jay, a detective with the 21st District Intelligence Unit and former army ranger, is assigned to keep her alive until she can testify. When their safe house is compromised, and they're forced to run, survival becomes their only focus. Between shootouts and close calls, something ignites between them that is raw, primal, and undeniable.
