Flirting With Death

Charlotte has tried everything to figure out why all her relationships keep dying. From therapy to trashy self help books that might as well be written in Latin.

The only other option is to turn to witchcraft. Spellwork can be literal, though. Instead of finding answers as to why her relationships keep dying, she finds literal Death standing in the center of her living room, judging her home decor.

Now Death finds himself bound to Charlotte in the human world, the Council is wondering about his sudden disappearance, and Charlotte now has a centuries-old entity giving her unhelpful romantic advice.

All while she keeps thinking:

"Why is he kind of hot, though?"

Based on the two prompts for ONC2026:

54. They've earned a reputation as the grim reaper of relationships. Every couple they get close to eventually breaks up, though each person somehow finds their perfect match afterward. Now they're determined to understand the "curse" and maybe find their own happy ending, with a few persistent frenemies complicating things.

100. A human summons a demon, and their first conversation quickly reveals the human may not be the one in control
