Two years have passed since the Sully family sought refuge in the reef, and a fragile peace has settled over Pandora. But the war has not ended; it has only changed frequency.

Nin, the eldest daughter of Jake Sully and Neytiri, is being hunted by her own mind. A blinding, sterile white light has begun to bleed into her waking hours, accompanied by a rhythmic, mechanical thud that no one else can hear. It is a physical weight behind her eyes, a static hum that warns of a danger she cannot name. When a sickly grey silt begins to choke the life from the Delta waters below, bringing with it whispers of a new RDA devastation, Nin knows the warning is real.

Driven by the need to protect the peace she has finally found with Ao'nung and the fragile ecosystems of the lowlands, Nin descends from the safety of the High Camp into the suffocating humidity of the Delta. But the enemy waiting for her is not one she can fight with a bow. It is a trap of static and steel designed not to kill, but to unmake.

Stripped of her weapons and severed from the song of Eywa, Nin is forced to endure a dismantling of her very soul. With Ao'nung as her only tether to the world she once knew, she must find a way to rise from the wreckage of her own identity.
