After a major fall on the ice, Avery Reid hangs up her skates for good. Or, so she thinks. Figure skating is her passion, but she has good reason for wanting to escape, even if that means giving up her dreams. Between her former coach breathing down her neck and her father, owner of the ski resort the skaters use to practice, cornering her at every opportunity, she has to either face her fears or walk away for good. Drew Walker is a new student at Creston University, riding a full hockey scholarship as the newest Creston Ice Hawk. Drew was hesitant to leave home, but knew this might be the only way he could help his family. Though dealing with an insufferable team captain wasn't what he bargained for. What happens when Avery and Drew collide? Will they help each other overcome their fears? Or maybe Avery won't be the only one doing the falling...

Scarlet

Marie Thompson has been fighting battles no one at school can see. Between her toxic home life and the weight of secrets she can't share, she's learned to keep everyone at arm's length especially Oscar Rivera. Their rivalry has lasted since they were kids, filled with taunts, challenges, and unspoken tension. But high school has a way of changing everything. Forced into proximity and unable to ignore the cracks in each other's armor, Marie and Oscar start to see sides of each other they never expected. What began as contempt slowly shifts into something dangerous, something they both can't ignore.
