Noticed

She likes routine. Early mornings, track practice, and staying in the back of the room where no one expects anything from her. Running makes sense. People don't.

At home, she learned to be independent. At school, she learned how not to be noticed. That changes when a transfer student arrives and looks at her like he's paying attention. Not staring. Just noticing.

What feels like nothing starts following her into places she thought were safe. As routines shift and silence grows louder, she has to figure out what it means to be seen when she never asked to be.
