BLACKHOLLOW UNIVERSITY does not appear on any map. It waits in the middle of nowhere, hidden behind gates so tall and dark they look more like a warning than an entrance.

Yvaine Vale Castiano has been sent here against her will. A transfer student from a family that no longer wants her, she hopes for a new beginning-new friends, new classes, maybe even safety.
