Txana (pronounced [ˈtsʼah-na]) and Neteyam became inseparable the moment the Sully family sought refuge with the Metkayina clan. As Tsireya's twin sister, Txana was tasked by her father with teaching them the ways of water. Yet somewhere between long swims, shared hunts, quiet stories, and walks along the shore, something deeper began to form. For Txana, it became more than friendship. But calm always comes before the storm. When Txana realises that Neteyam's heart is drifting toward Tsireya, the secret she has carried starts to weigh heavier than the tide itself. Caught between loyalty, love, and the pull of unspoken feelings, Txana must face a painful truth: not all bonds are strong enough to fight the current. Will their connection survive the shifting tides that threaten to alter their friendship forever? Or will the water wash the past ashore and leave everything they had behind? also lwk the first chapter is super duper short sorry abt that :((

The arrival of the Sully family on the shore of Awa'atlu brought a significant change to the Metkayina Clan. The oldest daughter of the Olo'eyktan and second in command, Etleyä, wasn't quite content with her father's decision to make her and her siblings teach the newcomers their ways. No one was aware of what their stay there would bring. How could they have possibly known the dangers that followed the Omatikaya family? And more importantly, how could Etleyä have known the way the oldest son of the mighty Toruk Makto would wreck her entire world? Not every soldier is meant to survive the battle. And Etleyä couldn't resist the tides of the forest.
