What We Become

It didn't start with sirens.
It didn't start with people running through the streets.

At first, life looked normal.

Folks still went to work. Still stopped for gas. Still stood in line. Still worried about bills, texts, rides, and all the regular shit that matters right up until it doesn't. By the time the truth hit, the city was already too far gone.

Now the rules are dead.

The infected are fast. Violent. Relentless. Safety disappears overnight, and survival starts asking more from people than they ever thought they had to give.

What We Become is a grounded, character-driven zombie story about ordinary people trying to make it through the collapse without losing themselves completely. But the longer they fight to survive, the more survival changes them. Mercy gets expensive. Trust gets risky. And doing the right thing stops being as simple as it used to be.

Because this world doesn't turn people into heroes.

It turns them into whatever they need to be.

And sometimes, that's the part that should scare you most.
