"Danniel!" the scream left Anna's lips, one he would never hear. The guards tightened their grip on her arms as she struggled to get to the house. She watched helplessly as the flames spread through the living room and then the kitchen.
By the time the flames licked up the blood red curtains of his bedroom window, she was struggling so hard that the guards lost their grip. She barreled through the front door into fire. Roaring flames surrounded her as she watched the house collapse above her. "Danniel!" She screamed again. He had to be alive.
Anna made it to the staircase before the ceiling caved. She screamed as a wood beam hit me across the head.
Thats the last thing she remembered before she woke up in the gloomy cell. All of it could have been avoided, if she had never convinced him to help her. It was all Anna's fault.

She asked me, her voice low. Almost sounding like she was whispering. I quickly shot her a glance before answering. "You have asthma." Her gaze darkened. It was so quiet I could hear her heart beating rapidly while we stared at each other. I couldn't help but want to reach up and kiss her, and hold her like she deserved. She swallowed her saliva and looked away, a smile starting to form on the corners of her lips. I chuckled, already knowing I couldn't escape her now. I wouldn't be able to. It'd be like not having oxygen. And so help me, God, if I didn't have my oxygen.
