The line we cross

druv(33 years) x maha(18 years)

maha is just 18 when her whole life turns upside down. her parents die in a sudden accident, and overnight she becomes the only heir to a huge business empire. but along with money comes greedy relatives, fake love, and people trying to control her future.

in the middle of all this chaos stands only one person truly on her side - her mama, druv. he is 33, her mother's brother, and the only one who is not after her money. while others talk about marriage and property, he talks about her studies, her independence, and her becoming strong enough to run her father's business.

but maha is heartbroken, scared, and tired of losing people. when she finds out the boy she trusted only cared about her wealth, she breaks down. in that emotional moment, she turns to the one man who has always protected her and asks him to marry her.

druv is shocked. he never saw her that way and believes she is too young. he wants to protect her future, not tie her to a marriage out of fear. but maha thinks differently. she is afraid of being left alone again and believes marriage is the only way to keep someone from walking out of her life.
