Tyler and Eliza were best friends and grew up two houses away from each other. They were inseparable throughout their entire childhood until senior year came along. The summer before, Eliza changed her features and attitude, and was finally let in with the popular crowd, leaving Tyler behind. Tyler was alone at first but he then became real close with the new boy Josh. One night at a huge party, Eliza gets humiliated in front of all her new friends and is practically shunned by them for being such an embarrassment. Someone anonymously posted her "humiliation" on Youtube and got her suspended and her scholarship taken away after the video going viral.
