Luke:" Avery its going to be okay."
me:"everything is not okay if I'm shot in the shoulder."
Luke:"be quiet the walkers are near the gun shot set them towards us."
me:"where did every one go and who was it that shot me?'
Luke:"I don't know yet I think there's another group."
the sound of foot steps keeps them both quiet. The weren't regular foot steps it was walkers and I couldn't find my self to get up. Luke would have to leave me to die.
A/N:so this is the prologue ,if you like huge time holes and bad punctuation and grammar this is for you. This is not my first time writing but I'm am still trying by the way I'm really young. I hope you will continue to read my book . thank you

COMPLETED! BOOK 2 in process! EDITING IN PROCESS! "Reid! Look out!" I scream as I push him over and I replace his spot. I try to turn around but I felt the pressure enter my neck. It sends me sprawling and collapsing to the ground. "Carrie!" I hear Morgan and Reid yell in unison. Darkness surrounds me and the gunshots echo and scream pass me. Glass shatters beside me and I feel my legs being dragged across the ground and place my back against a side of a car. I open my eyes barely and glass shatters above me. I press my hand against my neck and pull it away. A red trail runs down my hand and I look up and see someone that look extremely familiar just a few seconds ago. My vision became blurry and hard to see. I start to become extremely tired. I felt a hand press against my neck and winces throughout my body. I lowly grunt under my breath as it escapes me from the filled oxygen. I slightly open my eyes and see Reid. "Hey, just keep your eyes on me." He pulls his hand away and looks at the-the red liquid substances. "We need a medic!" His voice quivers. "As I was walking home, a Lamborghini pulls up to me unexpectedly. Twisters got out of the car like ants and walked up to me. "Why were you talking to Ava?" Jayden asks as he rubs his fingers through his sharp blade. I say nothing and shrugged. They look at me and their anger increased. "Answer me. Why were you talking to Ava?" He repeats. "Don't know. Don't care." I say carelessly. What was wrong with me? They could literally take me out in a heartbeat, and no one would ever know. Jayden balls up his fists and makes a punching gesture. "You won't answer me? Fine. You're dead meat now, brother." He says and smiles as he runs toward me. I didn't have time to think and just ran really fast to home. Please let this nightmare be over with! I didn't have time to run home and they eventually caught up to me. They cornered me and Jayden slashes his blade on my cheek. I screamed in pain. I was already dumb enough to try to talk back to Twisters and was now dumb-founded to be cornered by them. "Stop!..." I finally muttered. They laughed and Jayden held me up by my shirt. "Do you seriously think I'll just let you go that easily?" He says and chuckles." *INSPIRED BY THE OUTSIDERS* Shout out to my math teacher because she wanted to be included! As I wake up, I can feel the cold, hard, rock ground below me. It feels as if it's sucking me in because I can't live in this world anymore. It's too much work and I feel useless. My life is useless. People risk their lives to save something they don't need. What's better? Two alive or twenty six dead because of the two people? Even if I go on with my life, I will always feel this pain within me. Knowing I killed so many people. It'll just kill me and I swear I'll go crazy. So either way, I lose. I won't win because mentally or physically, I will die. I see Danny's face in front of me. Before the outbreak she was a cop just like her brother. After Rick got shot and ended up in a coma the world fell apart. The dead came back and started attacking the living. The military fell too quickly, the city was overrun by the dead and now she was at an old quarry only a few miles outside Atlanta with her Sister-In-Law, Nephew, and her brothers best friend. On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy. And it doesn't hurt to focus on a certain redneck too.Complete
