Everyone's face in the room held shock, no matter how well they managed to hide it. Bruce glanced at Steve and Tony, who had been arguing. Steve's face showed someone who had lost a friend. Tony's showed someone who had tried before, too.

Despite his very near Hulking state, he noticed Tony's expression, and he knew. They both seemed to make an agreement to each other - somehow going unnoticed by everyone else in the room - that Bruce wouldn't tell a soul as long as Tony didn't want him to.

After S.H.E.I.L.D came across L/n and her abilities, they began a slow process of helping her contain and control her powers, and through this process, L/n learnt how to feel her emotions on command. As she controls her emotions they combine to create her main power, healing. The only problem S.H.E.I.L.D has yet to figure out is that as L/n heals others she has to feel small amounts of their pain, but does not cause any physical damage to herself. 'Steve will be here, Tony you just need to have patience.' Bruce tried his best to explain. 'I just don't know why I feel hurt whenever I feel things are not right between me and Steve, we are not even that close friends.' Tony thought to himself.
