This is my real birth story.
It's about being overdue, driving to the hospital in a rainstorm, being sent home at 1 cm, throwing up all night on my bathroom floor, walking hospital corridors at dawn to move labour along, and finally pushing through fear and exhaustion to hear my baby cry for the first time.
After two pregnancy losses, this was the day I became a mother..
