"Sparrow." Paul reached out to me, but quickly dropped his hand. It sent a pang through my dead heart. Vampires and werewolves are enemies, even if we were brother and sister once upon a time. "You were changing - into one of us - when you were... changed." "Just say it, Paul," I whispered quietly. "Tell everyone how your beloved little sister is a vampire." The huge beasts around me shifted uneasily, fur bristling. I was going to be one of them, be with my imprint Seth, but that can never happen now. Fate tore that future away from me with one bite. ---> Sparrow has a tendency of being a little bit crazy. Not really, but it makes her stand out like a zebra in a horse run. Being Paul's younger sister sure gets its perks, too. For one, all the hot -literally burning- friends, who seem to be a bit suspiciously furry. She even develops a small -understatement- crush on Seth Clearwater. Strange is what people of La Push would call Sparrow. Yet she still loves life, lives it to the fullest. Until it was torn away from her on a morning run.

Edward's gone. The Cullens have vanished. And with them, Alice and Jasper - Beth's mates, her calm, her chaos, her heart. Bella falls apart. Beth does not. Because someone has to keep the lights on. Someone has to hold Charlie together, cover Bella's mess, and text "I'm fine" with shaking fingers to the only two people who ever made her feel seen. They're gone, and all Beth gets is silence - broken by the occasional message that can't hold her at night or kiss the ache away. Still, she keeps going. Because Beth Swan doesn't have the luxury of falling apart. But something's shifting in the woods. Jacob Black is growing secretive, and something ancient stirs in La Push. Old legends walk again. And as the supernatural world claws closer, Beth has to face a new truth: she might have lost her mates, but she hasn't lost herself. This isn't just a story about heartbreak. It's about grit, fury, and the kind of love that waits across miles and monsters.
