The movies. The smell of buttery popcorn, cheesy nachos and sugary drinks.

I loved the movies.

Which is why my friends and I went to the movies the night before our college graduation. It was our going away present to each other. To ourselves.

My life was supposed to change at 10 o'clock in the morning, not at 8 o'clock at night.

But I'm not complaining.
