The destruction of Filament Station needed to happen. For the better of humanity. For the better of Eden. That's what Y/N told themselves, to rid of the guilt they carried. The weight of the deaths rested solely on their shoulders. Sixty-two lives had been lost, people who were against Eden, but some of their own too. The only bright side of that shitty day was that boy they saved. If only they had asked his name before.
Now, trapped in the SM-12 for the blood ocean exploration of the Conviction Realization program, they get a second chance to save that same boy they did six years ago. Together, they'll make it back to the surface. Sea beast be damned.
