A young girl named Jane decides to run away from her problems to sign up for this free experiment on humans, involving evolution and adaptation. Jane meets a diverse group of people, becoming friends with another girl named Daisha. After being selected for professional training, they learn survival skills and get shipped off to an island, untouched by humankind for millions of years. After arrival, a sense of worry and calmness drifts over all volunteers as they wake up on the soft sand of the island beach. However, an island far away from any civilization and going untouched has its perks; containing species that humans no longer recognize and forcing the volunteers to either adapt or perish.
This story is inspired by: The Russian sleep experiment, Darwin's Finches, Avatar, and the Baju people, also known as The Gypsies or Sea Nomads.
