Qudrat has spent her life being looked through.

Not in a world where duty comes first.
Not in a world where girls are taught to endure, not dream.

Then there's the boy with green eyes.

Zahir knows what fire takes.
He watched it steal his parents, burn his past, and leave him standing in the smoke with nothing but survival in his hands. He does not believe in safe things. He does not believe in staying. And yet, somehow, he stays when he looks at her.

He sees Qudrat - not the responsibility, not the role, not the silence she perfected - but the girl underneath it all.
And he doesn't look away.
