Daenerys ruled beside Jon Stark, once Snow, now legitimized, and together they founded a dynasty that would give the world eight heirs-six dragonriders, two brides of great houses-and more bloodshed than even the histories of Valyria could contain.

Long after the Dragon Queen passed into legend, when her name was spoken as prayer and warning both, a new prophecy would surface-glimpsed not by priest or king, but by a dreamer born generations later, a great-great-granddaughter haunted by visions of fire yet to come. Whether these dreams foretell salvation or extinction, the maesters cannot agree. They only record what followed.
