When Kiara Thames starts her first semester at Templeton College she quickly realizes she's no longer at the top of the food chain. Well, she is. But definitely not in her Anatomy class. Her witty personality deems her annoying and reckless but what college freshman isn't? That's what Petro can't understand, even as they fight for their spots in the school's competitive Nursing Program.

Petro Callahan is a grade A asshole with a GPA Einstein would be proud of. He's closed off and cold-hearted and prefers to study in silence than engage in the college experience. But through his huge egotistical haze he quickly realizes he's not the only one gunning for the top spot.

Will these two ego maniacs learn to use their hearts instead of their heads, or will they rip each other apart like the models on the Anatomy table? After all, it's an Academic Rivalry, how bad can it be?
