This feels so much bigger than a performance. The Capitol has seen me and my brother growing up. The children of a beloved Victor that never really hid away from their eyes. They've wondered about our adventures and asked for my magic tricks, over and over. Here they have them. Not in the lighthouse where they were born, but on an enormous stage, close enough to touch.
A contract has given them a glimpse of the Lighthouse Ghost. Just enough to forget my catchphrase about ghosts never getting caught.
And now, with the crowd applauding, chanting my name as I bow down, I know the inevitable truth: They can't wait to see me die.
