Until now, he hadn't spoken in years. He had only listened without a peep. So, when he spoke two words Llevana knew that there was no more keeping the fear away. She knew there were secrets in the town of Riverbound that no one knew of.

Each passing year one person would be snatched of coming home, no one knew when it would happen, or how it happened. It just did. It was normal in the small. One year, someone claimed to see a rabid animal take the person, the next a sea monster took them. No one seemed to know anything. And neither did Llevana.

Now the secrets will unfold. But will they believe them?
