Althea Colbersy was orphaned at 15 during the rebellion. Her parents were killed in the crossfire, but Althea managed to escape, running to the only people she knew could help her. Nolon and Winifred, her godparents. They take her in with no hesitation and raise her in the Healer's Quadrant, where they both work. She's dedicated her life to the Healers but longs to help fight. To avenge her parents.
She's in her second year when she meets a boy who is the complete opposite of her. He's constantly coming into the infirmary and flipping her quiet, studious, calm life on its head. He can't seem to leave her alone.
And she doesn't want him to.
When war comes to Basgiath, she has a choice. Stay sheltered with the rest of the Healers Quadrant or make herself useful in a way no one has ever dared to before. By beginning to heal more than just the riders.

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
