At her new school, kids are mean, kids are nice, some are even flirty. She gets a job at a local records store, with a guy from her school. He happens to be in her cousin's friend group. They hang out a lot, bonding over their love for music and such. One night she comes home and her parents are arguing, not normal. Then they start talking about her, saying how she's going to turn out like her aunt, who doesn't have a job and relies on her husband.

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
