Luz Noceda was always an odd duck. She was able to see things nobody else could, but it was passed off. It was always passed off. Either she was "imaginative," or she was "schizophrenic," or she was "weird." The labels changed, but the meaning stayed the same; something was wrong with her, but the truth was far simpler, and far darker than she could have known. Luz wasn't seeing things; she was seeing curses. Curses who were gathering in her town because of secret deals made before she was born. A deal which Luz would soon stumble across, and wish she never had. This is the story of a girl who wished to live out a fantasy, but when the fantasy came for her, she found herself wanting to go back, only to find that door had closed when she arrived.
