In her final year as head of her school's English publication TV Broadcasting team, Rory Cassidy Dizon is tasked to lead the coverage of a system-wide activity- an assignment that binds her to Rafael Eros Yuchengco, the equally stubborn and infuriating TV Broadcasting head of the Filipino publication. Years of unspoken rivalry make cooperation feel like a punishment neither of them asked for.

But as deadlines tighten and tempers flare, Rory begins to see through the version of Rafael she's always despised. He's sharp-tongued yet attentive, infuriating yet constant- someone who challenges her in ways no one else ever has. The more she fights the pull between them, the more dangerous it becomes, until hatred starts to feel like the thinnest disguise for something far more consuming.

But maybe this is a rivalry that doesn't end with the other's victory. Maybe it ends with feelings that neither side is ready to name.
