This is normally how it starts on a Saturday. My mom assumes I have no plans, which is correct, and calls me downstairs saying she needs to talk to me. She then explains one of her friends are having a party and her friend has a teenager who " is much like me " meaning, a teenager who is more likely to be on their phone, as we sit together, than to start any type of conversation with me.
Now as a senior in high school nothing has changed. However an odd set of circumstances while at a party rekindles old feelings for me and never have I ever been so confused and broken.
