It's dawn on his first day at university when Rays walks through the doors of the old Law School.
Rays didn't want to be there. He'd always dreamed of studying astronomy, but in a family that had always studied law, anyone who dreamed of the stars was considered an idiot.
But what he doesn't know is that Blackwood isn't a university like any other.
There's a legend that everyone knows but no one really takes seriously:
It's said that decades ago, a student discovered a secret passage in the dean's office, leading to a parallel world where law and science meet, where what we dream becomes reality, a place that wasn't meant to be discovered.
Since then, on clear nights, some swear they see a light throughout the building, even though no one is inside.
